Cinnamon Rolls by Lisa Bivens

4 pkg dry yeast
2 2/3 c. (110 dg) water
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. nonfat dry milk powder
4 eggs
8 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. salt
1 c. melted margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cinnamon

Dissolve yeast in water in a bowl.  Add 1 cup sugar, shortening, milk powder, and eggs.  Add 4 cups flour and salt.  Mix well.  Add remaining flour.  Mix well.  Let rise, covered, for 1 hour or until doubled in bulk.  Roll on a floured surface.  Sprinkle with margarine., 1/2 cup sugar, and cinnamon.  Roll-up, like a jelly roll, and slice.  Place in a baking sheet.  Let rise for 30 minutes.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Bake for 1- to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
