“Social workers play such an important role in so many lives,” stated Lisa Bivens, Administrator of Panhandle Home Health.  “As a healthcare agency, we are proud to recognize the significant and vital contribution of their work.”

Over 20 social workers and other healthcare professionals from Jefferson, Berkeley, and Morgan Counties attended the breakfast, held at the Purple Iris in Martinsburg.  The morning included of a discussion about leadership led by keynote speaker Paul Kostreski, CEO and President of Consulting TecKnowledgies in Fredrick, Maryland.  Mr. Kostreski has over 20 years experience in management and his expertise includes business consulting, development, leadership, management, marketing, planning, sales, technology development and training.  He also serves as an adjunct instructor and performance improvement consultant for Frederick Community College’s Continuing Education/Customized Training Department.  In the last four years, Mr. Kostreski has been the Vice President of Business Development of two start-up companies.  “Paul’s presentation was wonderful and entertaining,” stated Bivens.  “He led the discussion with both extensive knowledge and humor.”
